We've Moved to the 2nd Floor! February 2019

We moved out of our space on the first floor a little later than we had planned, and then Seattle's February 2019 Snowpocalypse hit, delaying deliveries and preventing us from getting to the new space to figure out where everything would go. We ultimately had to push out our reopening two times, thanks mostly to the snow. 

When were able to make it in to the store, we worked hard to transform the space and make it The Handmade Showroom. We cleaned, painted, installed shelves, dusted, moved furniture, moved furniture again (and again). Once we finally started setting up the displays, we felt a new energy. It was exciting to see the artists' work again, and the shop started to take shape. 

After a few more unexpected snow days, we finally opened on Valentine's Day. It was so great to see familiar faces, and welcome new customers. Many folks have said the new space is cozy and bright. "It's so inviting," one of our regular costumers said. A few people have even said they like the new space even better than the old! 

Every day the space feels more and more like home---we are learning where everything is, and even liking the more intimate size of the shop.
