Returns & Exchanges
Returns and exchanges at The Handmade Showroom are accepted within 30 days of the original date of purchase and are subject to the policies below.
Eligibility & Item Condition
- Items must be returned in unused, unworn, unwashed, and resalable condition, with all original tags attached.
- Items showing signs of use, wear, washing, or alteration will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer.
- Refunds cover the cost of the item and any applicable sales tax only.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method or as store credit.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Final Sale Items (Not Eligible for Return or Exchange)
The following items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged through use
- Items that are no longer actively carried by The Handmade Showroom (after the standard 30-day return window)
- Discounted, sale-priced, or clearance items
- Special-request or custom-made items
- Items in our Sale or Last Chance Collections
Return & Exchange Process
In-Store Exchanges (Including Size or Color Changes)
If you are planning to exchange for a different size or color, we strongly recommend calling the store first so we can verify availability and set the item aside for you.
Verify Stock & Hold (Recommended):
Call us at 206-623-0504 and we can hold the replacement item for up to 24 hours so it is not sold before you arrive.
In-Store Process:
Bring the item(s) you wish to exchange along with your receipt, receipt number, or the credit card used for the original purchase.
Even Exchanges:
Even exchanges are generally accepted within the 30-day window, as long as the item is in new, unworn condition with tags attached and the item is still actively stocked.
Online (Mail-In) Returns & Exchanges
For any mailed return or exchange, you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number before shipping your item(s).
Please contact us with your receipt code or order number to receive complete return instructions and your personalized RA number.
Important:
Items sent without prior authorization may not be processed correctly or may be returned to sender. Please contact us before mailing anything back.
