Live Block Printing with Happitat

Give Your Favorite Shirt a Little Personality!
Live Block Printing with Anna Tono of Happitat

Have a favorite shirt that could use a little something extra? Bring it to The Handmade Showroom this Friday, October 23, and give it a whole new look!

We're welcoming Seattle artist Anna Tono of Happitat for a special live block printing pop-up during the Downtown Seattle Art Walk, from 5:00 to 7:30 PM.

Pick a Print, Make It Yours!

Anna will be bringing a collection of her original, hand-carved block print designs, ready to add some personality to your clothes.

ย  ย  ย  ย  ย

ย  ย  Choose from playful designs including a matcha-loving cat, leafy ferns, charming little creatures, and a brand-new floral sugar skull that's fresh off the carving block!

Bring a shirt from home, or pick up one of the thrifted clothing blanks Anna will have available for purchase. Once you've chosen your design, you can watch Anna print it onto your garment by hand.

Flash prints range from $5 to $25, depending on the design.

Meet the Artist Behind Happitat

Created by Seattle artist Anna Tono, Happitat celebrates creative self-expression through art inspired by nature and the things that make us happy.

Even the name is a little bit delightful! It's a playful combination of our natural habitats and the idea of finding your own happy place.

We love the idea of giving an everyday piece of clothing a new story, especially when that story includes meeting the artist who helped make it happen.

What to Know Before You Come
